The Sun altitude was 11 degrees when this picture was taken. The slightly downhill view allowed more of the bow to be seen. |

The Sun was 24 degrees up as the last of the fog melted away. By that stage it was barely deep enough to show the top of the bow anyway. (The streaks at the top are distant cirrus clouds.) |
