Low Sun Evening Rainbow

With a large clear patch behind some late afternoon showers it seemed worth following this one in the hope of getting a full arc. Most of the time I could only get the bright lower sections.

Although I did eventually manage to get a full arc the lighting on the higher raindrops was poor so the top part of the bow wasn't very bright.

The position of my shadow shows that the sun was only a few degrees above the horion by then.

The left side of the bow persisted for another 10 minutes, long after the foreground was in shadow.
