A slow shutter speed reveals flashes of colour in Alexander's Dark Band, presumably from distorted drops.

Oscillating colours in the tracks suggest that the drops are changing shape in a regular way.

Here there are enough displaced colours to slightly reduce the purity of the colours in the primary.

Only a small sample but most drops seem to change at a similar frequency. The exposure was 1/60th second.
