Provided the sun is high enough then going down the stairway into the gorge is well worth the trouble. There is barely a trace of secondary here but the damp rock on the other side of the gorge shows that the wind sometimes carried it high enough. |

The drifting spray can produce some strongly coloured bows.
The large amount of spray can be seen from the runoff on the rocks below.
