The first supernumerary is quite obvious near the top of this bow but fades out lower down. |
A second supernumerary is just visible here, the purple and green bands tend to dominate. |

Viewed against a blue sky the first supernumerary isn't so obvious. Also notice the difference in background where there is reflected light inside the primary bow compared to the sky outside the bow. |
Viewed against a darker cloud background the green in the supernumerary is more obvious. |
