What caught my eye here was the colour contrast between the new and old contrails. The effect was even more obvious than these images would suggest. |

The fresh contrail had a distinct orange tint compared to the white of the old contrail. |
The other fresh contrail was the same so perhaps the lower altitude of the new contrails was enough to show the extra reddening of the low sun. |
