In this simple inverted mirage the line of trees and hillside are reflected in what looks like a large pool of water on the road. The bright white road markings still show through quite clearly. |
This inverted mirage produces an upside down image of the yellow truck. The reflected sky makes it difficult to see where the horizon is. |

This more complicated mirage shows the usual inverted mirage below the blue truck. Below that is another correct image of the truck in the nearer 'pool'. There may even be another reflection below this, but it is not clear if it is inverted or not. |
In this shot there is a correct, but slightly stretched, image of the white car in the distance. Below that is another weak but inverted image. |
