Halo and Circumzenithal Arc

The sky was filled with cirrus all morning but only some of it produced halo effects, like this rather washed out 22 degree halo. Contrails and their shadows helped to make it a bit more interesting.

At one point a circumzenithal arc was visible together with the 22 degree halo. Although the 22 degree halo was better defined and showed more colour than earlier in the day it was no match for the pure colours of the circumzenithal arc.
