Full Lunar Haloes

This nice halo lasted just long enough for me to get home and and get the camera. (The offset inner ring is a lens reflection)

Saturn is to the lower left of the moon while Procyon is the bright star near the bottom of the halo.

A rather murky sky reflected back the light pollution but despite that this halo was easily visible. Unfortunately the rapidly changing lighting conditions made it hard to match the images.

Capella is the bright star near the inside top of the halo while Betelgeuse lies on the left side of the halo, just below centre. Mars is below and slightly right of the moon. Castor and Pollux in Gemini are the pair at top left.
