High and Low Sundogs

Although they are called 22 degree parhelia sundogs are only at this distance from the sun when the sun is low.
	The Sun altitude was 49 degrees and the coloured sundog is well clear of the faint 22 degree halo.
	Here the sun is high in the sky and the sundog is well to the left of the 22 degree halo.
	Only when the sun is near the horizon do the sundogs meet up with the 22 degree halo.
