Iridescent Mist

On this occasion I was able to shield the camera lens a bit better and that helped to improve the contrast. The colours are more intense at smaller angles from the sun, but this is more risky so needs to be done with great care. Getting the focus right can be tricky too. The swirls of mist are typically a few centimetres high.




Never look directly at the sun ! Shield the sun and use proper eye protection against the glare.
