Iridescent Cloud Edge


The weak purple and green bands are typical of iridescence away from the corona.

Patchy iridescence is visible in cloud near the sun, which is several degrees to the left behind the roof.

A distorted corona merges into iridescence along the edge of thin cloud.


Never look directly at the sun !   Shield the sun and use proper eye protection against the glare.
