A small gap allowed the setting sun's rays to shine through and the darker background helped to emphasise them . It isn't obvious which clouds are casting the individual shadows and they may be hidden by the lower bank. |

As the cloud drifted the pattern changed subtly to produce a nice even fan of light and dark rays. |
