Watching these changing cloud shadows was a good way of passing the time while waiting for a train. It was quite easy to work out exactly where the sun was behind the cloud. |

The difference between the shadows above and below the cloud was quite striking. The shadows above also show darker sections at the beginning, suggesting significant variation in transparency of the different layers of air. |
