Earthshine and Pleiades

Late twilight on a clear spring evening with prominent earthshine on a two day old crescent moon.

A stack of 5 exposures shows plenty of detail on the earthlit side of the moon, although the bright crescent is completely burned out.

Once it got dark the Pleiades star cluster added to the view. A few hours later it would have been more impressive with the moon much closer to the cluster.
