Morning Sundogs

Another long spell without sundogs ended with this example in early morning jet contrails.

Only certain patches of the man-made cirrus proved suitable but a few strongly coloured sundogs did form briefly.

The ribbed cloud structure of the cirrus above this colourful sundog betrays its origins.
