This fairly colourful upper tangent arc was visible on and off between banks of cloud. The lower tangent arc was also seen occasionally but only part of the 22 degree halo between them was visible. |

Later in the day the upper tangent arc was less prominent and a full 22 degree halo developed. Lower level cloud was a nuisance but on this occasion reduced the glare and showed a reasonable corona. |
