Tangent Arc Fragments

A reasonably bright upper tangent arc and a weak 22 degree halo can be seen diverging just right of centre. The upper tangent was enhanced by a small patch of well aligned crystals.

This produced a bright band which drifted through the halo. At one point it looked almost like a sundog, but above the sun.

Less than 10 minutes later the crystals were less well oriented, leaving just the 22 degree halo.
