This well defined upper tangent arc showed distinct colour and arcs downward just outside where the 22 degree halo would be. Solar altitude was 56 degrees. There was no sign of the 22 degree halo even though the cirrus was quite extensive. |

Half an hour earlier part of the lower tangent arc was quite prominent with some 22 degree halo extending up from it. |
